What is your level of experience? Daniel Baller proudly provides you
with the knowledge & expertise of nearly 1,400 weddings since 1998.
Do you support marriage equality? I would welcome an
opportunity to be part of your same-sex wedding celebration.
How large is your music library? My music catalog currently
consists of over 117,000 song titles from the 1930's to today.
Do you have the hits that are being played today? Yes I do.
I am a subscriber to Promo Only music service (available only to
professional disc jockeys). Every day I receive the most recent
songs which have been released. This service allows me to stay
completely current in all types/styles of music.
What type of equipment do you use? I use only professional grade equipment for the best in sound quality and reliability. Leading manufacturers such as Yamaha, RCF, Electro-Voice, JBL, TurboSound, Sennheiser, Shure, AKG, Line 6, Martin & Chauvet round out my professional audio & lighting equipment inventory.
Do you have backup equipment? Of course. Full backup equipment is on-site, ready at a moments notice (if needed).

How would you characterize your personality and style? Professional and fun. I do not have/use cheesy gimmicks or props and would never do anything to make you and/or your guests feel uncomfortable.
What is your standard attire? Tuxedo (unless requested otherwise).
Do you provide a written contract? Most definitely. I feel that contracts are a must so that all parties are entirely clear as to what is being agreed to. Items such as engagement date, level of service, compensation, etc. are clearly spelled out - no surprises.
Can you assist with the wedding ceremony music as well as the reception? This is truly one of my specialties. Over 3/4 of my couples choose to have me coordinate & entertain at both their ceremony & reception.
We are having our wedding ceremony & reception at different venues, can you accommodate this? Of course. I have dedicated "ceremony systems" which can be used for the service (even in locations without electricity) while another separate system is already set up and utilized for the reception. This allows me to provide a seamless transition from one venue/location to another.
Can you provide a wireless lapel microphone for our minister? Yes. A wireless lapel microphone for your officiant is included in my"Diamond" Program.
Can I speak in advance to the DJ / Emcee who will be performing at my wedding? I wouldn't have it any other way. I pride myself on one-to-one relationships with my clients. An initial (no cost or obligation) consultation is provided so you may determine if my service is right for you. Unlimited phone & email consultation is always included.
How many events do you book per day? This is a great question, one in which I stand apart from many other companies. I book exclusively one client for a given day. By giving you my exclusive attention there are no worries about me being delayed in arriving from another event, or being unable to stay later when the celebration is still going strong.
Do I need to decide in advance how long I need the DJ/Emcee to stay? No, if you do need additional time, that decision can be made at the end of the initial contracted time, the day of the event. You are in charge of how long (if at all) you would like me to stay past the initial contracted time frame.
What is the largest reception you have ever performed at? Approximately 550 guests.
Do you charge a travel fee? I provide no charge travel for up to 25 miles from my office to your venue. Further distances are subject to a fee.
Do you charge (or deduct from my time) for setup & tear down? Absolutely not. All setup and tear down is at my time and expense. You will get up to the full contracted performance time for my services.
Do you require a retainer payment to book your services? Yes. A fifty (50) percent retainer is required at time of signing a contract for service. The remain balance is due thirty (30) days before your wedding.
Do you accept credit cards? Yes. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and personal checks as forms of payment.
